Situated on the north end of a ridge between Green Lake and Ballard, breathtaking views of both the Olympic and Cascade Mountain ranges can often be seen from Greenwood. Restaurants, pubs, boutiques, and antique shops line this walking neighborhood’s main drag, which is highly reminiscent of 1950’s Seattle. Homes are a diverse mix of bungalows, brick tudors, mid-century and new construction. Neighborhood events that bring this tight-knit community together include the Greenwood/Phinney Art Walk in May, the Greenwood Classic Car & Road Show in June, a neighborhood Seafair parade in August, and holiday activities in December. This is a neighborhood that is redefining itself as a destination for the arts, antiques, and dining. Greenwood has easy access to both I-5 and Highway 99.
