West Seattle

West Seattle

Known for its beaches and views of downtown.

Welcome to West Seattle

West Seattle is west of the Duwamish River and is now the city's largest neighborhood. Separated into four distinct districts — Admiral, Alki, Fauntleroy, and Delridge — each has its own personality. Alki is known for its beautiful beaches and spectacular views of downtown. The largest saltwater beach in town, on a warm, sunny day, you’ll find hundreds of people playing volleyball, in-line skating, sunbathing, and beachcombing. The Admiral and Alaska ‘Junction’ Districts are home to shopping, trendy boutiques, and dining while the Fauntleroy district is mostly residential, adjoined by Lincoln Park and the ferry docks to Vashon Island and the Olympic Peninsula. Delridge is experiencing a surge in new construction as land has been more affordable in this area. A 15-minute commute to downtown, West Seattle has easy access to I-5 and Highway 99.
