Roosevelt / Ravenna

Named for the seaside area in Northeast Italy, environmentally-conscious Ravenna is located in northeast Seattle. Its home to one of Seattle’s oldest parks – 50-acre Ravenna Park. Bordered by the University of Washington to the south, Ravenna has easy access to both 520 and I-5, and downtown Seattle is a 15-minute commute. With its active community association, people who live in Ravenna pride themselves on supporting the locally-owned businesses that include bakeries, restaurants and retail. Once part of the Ravenna neighborhood, Roosevelt has since worked to set themselves apart with an active neighborhood organization and a growing commercial district. Anchored by Whole Foods, this district continues to grow, emerging as another unique Seattle neighborhood. Condominiums and townhouses are bringing an urban edge to the area.
