After identifying Claudine online as someone who had listed and sold homes in our neighborhood, I called her and was immediately impressed not only with her knowledge of the local real estate market and community but with her willingness over the phone to share useful information, such as steps we would need to take with our HOA prior to listing. Our first in-person meeting with her confirmed my impression: she was on time, thoroughly prepared with detailed information about our building and neighborhood comparables, had a plan already in mind for how to market our home, and left no doubt that we should sign her on as our agent. She gave us excellent advice on how to get our apartment ready for listing; and because we were not able to be in town during the listing period, she was extremely generous with her own time and assistance in making sure that everything got done. We were in constant touch via email, text, and phone; and Claudine did everything, and more, that she had promised, including supervising repairs, staging our deck with flowers and furniture, and making sure the apartment looked its best. The bottom line is that our home had multiple excellent offers within the first week, and Claudine's skill as a negotiator resulted in a final offer that far exceeded our initial expectations. Closing took place within three weeks, with not one hitch, thanks to Claudine's intelligence, attention to detail, knowledge, people skills, and hard work.
