Get to Know Me

A Little About Me:

I came to Lake and Company with a twenty-five year background in Sales and Architectural Design. Having lived on both sides of Lake Washington (as well as in between on Mercer Island), I can honestly say, I know the neighborhoods, schools, and characteristics of houses very well! I've lived in other parts of the country (I'm an 'almost native') but have been here most of my life. I grew up on the East Side, but my husband and I chose one of Seattle's charming neighborhoods to put down roots, where we've raised two great kids. With family on both sides of the bridge, I'm often making my way across and can help you decide the best fit for you. I love to travel and have many experiences to share and hear about yours! When at home I like to entertain, sharing my love for cooking and baking with friends and family or trying one of Seattle's great restaurants. I like gardening, cheering on the HAWKS, meeting for coffees, taking yoga classes and creating new spaces. I also like meeting new people, so I can't wait to get to know you!

For Buyers:

I'm a great listener and combined with my visual skills, I can help you find the house you'll call "home." If we find one that needs a little work to make it perfect, no worries - I have many resources and can make the undertaking of a remodel, easy. If it's new construction you're interested in, my understanding the building process will be a huge asset.

And Sellers:

I've got a great eye for helping you get your house ready to sell- whether it needs a little staging or a great color on the front door, together we can put it in the position to stand out amongst the competition and get it sold! Post Closing, reach out whenever you need a trusted professional for help with projects or emergencies. I look forward to becoming your preferred Broker, both now, and for all of your future Real Estate needs!

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

After 34 years of home ownership the prospect of bringing our home to the "market" was daunting, to say the least. Our 118 year old "Craftsman" had been updated somewhat but still required improvements and expansion to bring it up to today's standards. We are immensely grateful to Leslie Foley and give her five stars for her realty savvy, knowledge, support, and guidance throughout the project! Star numb...

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

Leslie, you are the absolute greatest! I don't know any other realtor, really a human being, who would go so above and beyond for other people. From meeting with us over the years and encouraging us when this seemed like such a distant possibility to helping us pack up our house and driving the cat and me to the Airbnb, you have been phenomenal. I can't believe how far we have come to where we are now. A...

Leslie Foley sold our home within four days of listing it. She guided us through all the paperwork, including inspections, that needed to be completed before the home went on the market. WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

We are very happy with our new house on Whidbey; Leslie never pushed us to any decision but instead guided us though the lengthy process of figuring out what we really want. She went above and beyond to show houses and especially to dig into details and small prints. She was extremely helpful in guiding us through negotiations, filling out forms, etc. We can highly recommend her.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

Recently my wife and I bought and sold homes partnering with Leslie Foley from Lake & Co. She was exceptional. We met her 'pre-pandemic' when we were not very serious about purchasing a home. She shared her business card and we traded information. I assumed it was a formality that we wouldn't hear from her again. I was wrong! She started sending us listings with just the right amount of tenacity (i.e., n...
