Meet Angie Thompson

I was born and raised in Alaska, growing up in Anchorage, with family ties to the greater Seattle area, which led to many family trips to Washington. I’m a graduate of Washington State University and while at WSU, I got bitten by the television bug. I worked in television news for nearly 15 years which took me to Oregon, back to my home state of Alaska (where I met my husband who was also in TV news), to Maine and eventually to Seattle where my husband and I have called home since 2003. Buying our first house in Maine, I realized that I had a love for real estate. After moving to Seattle, I decided to change careers and become a residential real estate appraiser, which I did for 10+ years before becoming a broker. Being an appraiser has given me an education in home valuation which is a fantastic tool.

 

Having run my own successful appraisal business, it was imperative for me to find the right fit, not just any fit, for myself as a broker. Knowing of Lake & Company’s great reputation, it seemed like it would be the perfect union and has proven to be true. I’m honored to be a part of a company that thrives on relationships, education and exceptional service. Having a great team behind you makes all the difference in the world.

 

Whenever possible, my husband and I love to be out globetrotting. Travelling has always been a passion and we love to see new places, experience new food, shows, and a variety of sporting events. We love to get outside and enjoy everything the northwest has to offer from skiing to kayaking.
