I made the decision to jump into real estate in 2002. My wife & I purchased our first home in Broadview (North Seattle) and had a very below average experience with just about no follow up after the transaction. I thought, "Wouldn't it be cool to be the kind of agent who focused on being as informative & knowledgeable as possible while making the process enjoyable too?" Shortly after that, I acquired my license and began selling homes. For 10 years prior, I had been working as a social worker helping homeless young adults obtain housing, so I saw potential for tons of crossover between the two professions. That experience helped me understand that listening to what someone wants for themselves, rather than what I want for them, could be an asset.

My awesome family consists of my wife, Rebecca and two sons- Henry (born in 2003) & Elliott (born 18 months later-I know, they're close in ages...but we're officially done!). If you're lucky enough to ever meet me via real estate purposes, I may be accompanied by one of my "assistants" on random occasions and you can bet that you'll like me even more after that! We also have two dogs-Jetson the black lab & Ringo the fierce chihuahua. We currently live in Ballard's Whittier Heights neighborhood where we have been since 2005 and are loving every minute! The Adamsons love to travel & Miss Rebecca is a local celebrity in her role as "office lady" at Whittier Elementary School. In my spare time I play and coach basketball plus have a little hobby where I play rockin' music for children & families in a band called The Not-Its!

In closing, I have lived in the Seattle area my entire life, which is a definite plus in a real estate professional. I love this city and enjoy being a member of our community.
