What follows will give you a start at understanding WHO I AM before I know WHO YOU ARE. I'm not a glitter and gold kind of guy. What I am is thoughtful, enthusiastic, practical, hard working and good with solutions that make sense.
A brief history of me reads as follows: I am a Washington native. My undergraduate degree is in Economics from Washington State University. Along the way I've worked as a longshoreman and as a National Park Ranger at Mt. Rainier. I entered real estate in 1971 (that was the year the bill board appeared that said 'Will the last person in Seattle please turn off the lights'). In two years I had my brokers license and in four years had my own office. After 8 years of owning my own business, I wanted a change and came to Lake and Company.
So, almost 40 years later after beginning real estate, here I am. Over the years, people - probably like you, have become friends for life. I live in Bryant (near the UofW) in a 1920's house with my two children Bryn and Stuart. Perhaps one of my best strengths is that I offer perspective based upon accumulated facts and experiences. Today, everyone wants an answer NOW. I'm not afraid of giving an answer. Answers I give are seasoned, reasoned, and fair and I'm ready to be your agent. Call me.
