About Kim Klaffky:

Kim grew up on Long Island in NY with a family involved in building, developing and acquiring real estate. She lived in Colorado for awhile where she married her husband 20 years ago. They moved to Seattle so she could attend graduate school and John a post-doctoral position at UW. They never left. Citing the perfect blend of water, mountains, and all the community and outdoor activities the NW offers, Seattle has been an amazing place to call home.

A home owner with projects galore, as well as a real estate investor herself, Kim has personal insights that go beyond her professional experience. She has a network of professional referrals related to home purchasing, selling and home ownership, as well as connections to Realtors in other states, making her a resource for all things real estate.

Over 90% of Kim’s business comes from referrals from past clients and their friends, families, & colleagues. They say they appreciate her knowledge, hard work, availability, honesty & professionalism. She makes sure that each client receives personal and thorough attention and representation, including rolling up her sleeves in room by room preparations for sellers, educating and guiding clients in making informed decisions, and effectively negotiating and facilitating contracts resulting in successful transactions.

A mom of two boys, Kim is one of those people that fit the notion that if you have something that needs to get done right, give it to the busiest person you know. She’s an active mom, and since Ben was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes has been involved on several diabetes related committees and is co-editor of a monthly diabetes newsletter. She especially enjoys being a rocker-mom at the School of Rock where Jeff plays guitar and Ben plays drums.

Kim has years of experience in contract negotiation, conflict resolution, project development, and customer service management. She is an Accredited Buyer Representative, EcoBroker & an Accredited Staging Professional. She holds a Master's degree in Public Administration.
